I build boats for private clients and museum exhibitions.

Most of these projects required me to research designs, visit archives and in some cases physically measure historic boats, recording their shape and construction details. I have also built boats using modern methods such as glued-lapstrake marine plywood planking where clients wanted a light weight, long-lasting, and low maintenance boat. 

I offer consultation on appropriate designs and construction methods,
as well as exhibitions of traditional boatbuilding for museums and other institutions.
